Hunger is a major concern in the Triad: A national research group finding that the Greensboro/High Point metro area ranks second in the country when it comes to adults facing food hardships.  The report says 23% of adults don’t have enough to eat. Two years ago, the Food Research and Action Center ranked Winston-Salem worst in the country when it comes to children facing food hardships. Key provision of Obamacare has been pushed to 2015.  The “employer mandate” – the requirement that businesses provide workers with health insurance or face fines — will be delayed by one year.
