Tax-free shopping on the Internet could be in jeopardy? A bill making its way through the US Senate would empower states to require online retailers to collect state and local sales taxes for purchases made over the Internet.  Under current law, states can only require stores to collect sales taxes if the store has a brick and mortar location in the state.   http://apnews.myway.com/article/20130423/DA5R38780.html

Challenge Alert – As if parents didn’t have enough to worry about, it seems a growing number of kids are trying the “Cinnamon Challenge” – (Swallow a tablespoon of ground cinnamon and hold it in for 60 seconds without drinking anything).Typically, individuals usually suffer no more than burning in the throat, mouth and nose and a bad cough. Havens passed away from a heart attack on Monday. Richie Havens was 72. FYI: Havens was the first performer at Woodstock (Yes, THE Woodstock back in 1969). Because of travel delays, Havens ended up performing for nearly three hours.

Knives on planes? Not yet. The NO Blade Rule stays in effect for now.  TSA was set to lift the ban on passengers being able to carry small knives on commercial flights this Thursday.  CNN
