How do you spell ‘Heartburn’? For me, too much cheese dip and salsa. Experts
with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center suggesting that Heartburn or acid reflux can be triggered by a variety of factors- beyond the spicy foods. Stress, Smoking even medical conditions like asthma, diabetes or an abnormal stomach muscle/nerve function can cause Heartburn or acid reflux.
Some tips on how to avoid this uncomfortable experience: Eat smaller portions and do it slowly. Avoid spicy or acidic foods. Substitute fried foods with items that are grilled or baked. Steer clear of caffeinated, carbonated (and alcoholic) beverages.
