Gas prices continue to climb. In the Triad: the average for regular unleaded will cost you around $3.67 a gallon.  According to AAA, gas prices nationwide have gone up 13 cents over the past week.   http://www.winstonsalemgasprices.com/

Governor Pat McCrory will deliver his first “state of the state” address at 7pm this evening. See it LIVE on  PBS and News 14 Carolina.  BTW: The new
Governor will visit Randolph Community College later today and sign a new
education bill into law, encouraging more students to finish high school and
create more vocational classes.

Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Community Church in California, telling reporters that any (Christian) organization that sees ‘evangelism’ as a priority should NOT take government money. Warren admits that he has refused millions of dollars from the Obama (and Bush) administrations offered in support of his ministry’s global relief efforts. Warren turned down the money because he won’t let aid restrictions stop him from telling people about Jesus Christ. BTW: Warren also
pointed out that many foreign countries now reject federal aid from the US that’s
