After a week of support from faith-based groups, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) will maintain its current leadership policy, for now. The BSA will revisit the issue of allowing openly homosexual men to serve as scout leaders at its National Council meeting in May. BTW: Churches sponsor 69% of all Scout units. www.citizenlink.org

According to the American Family Association, one of those leading the charge to
change the BSA policy to allow homosexuals as leaders is AT&T CEO Randall
Stephenson. It is time for Stephenson to resign from the BSA board. AT&T has already cut funding to the BSA, a direct personal conflict of interest for Stephenson. The BSA doesn’t need his company’s money - especially with the strings he has attached to it. At present, Stephenson is set to become the chairman of the BSA board in 2014. Unless he is out, you can expect he will push even harder to force the gay agenda. Voice Your Opinion NOW: http://secure.afa.net/afa/activism/SignPetition.asp?id=2000

BTW: Six months ago, after a two-year review, the Boy Scouts national organization
re-affirmed its policy on banning homosexual Scout leaders. The decision to
reconsider its position came after increased pressure from national organizations and corporations. www.cbn.com/cbnnews/us/2013/February/Moment-of-Truth-Boy-Scouts-to-Vote-on-Gay-Ban/
