Refocusing Your Job Search in 2013

Job Coach, Randy Wooden, was on the Morning Show today to offer some help to job hunters. His main point? Networking is the most important thing you can do, both when looking for a job and when when you have one. People most often hire people they have some connection with. There are very few employees that get hired these days just by responding to an ad. Randy also said that utilizing social media like Linkedin and Facebook wisely are a critical piece of the networking puzzle.

If you’d like more info or free one-on-one coaching, Randy can be reached at the Goodwill Professional Center. His number is 336-407-7306 or email him at rwooden@goodwillnwnc.org

About Tami With-an-i

Co-Host, Your Family-Friendly Morning Show

I have three awesome kids - Andrew, Carley and Laura. My husband, Alton, is a delivery driver by day with dreams of one day publishing his own comic book. Yes, he is a geek, but I love him anyway.

I have been working at WBFJ since September 2004 when God threw me out of the boat I was riding in and set me on a new and wonderful course. I love co-hosting the morning show, although the lack of sleep does make me a bit loopy at times.
