Another great find at Goodwill –  Karen Mallet bought a print titled “Red Nose” for just $12.34 at a Goodwill store in Milwaukee, recently. The print turned out to be a lithograph by American artist Alexander Calder worth $9,000 dollars. Talk about good fortune:  At least 4 times in the past six months, valuable art has turned up at Goodwill retail stores across the nation. Last month, a Salvador Dali sketch found at a Goodwill shop in Tacoma, Washington sold for $21,000. Last summer, a woman from North Carolina pocketed more than $27,000 for a painting she bought for just $9.99 at a Goodwill location. www.thonline.com/news/iowa-illinois-wisconsin/article_28bee16c-462d-5800-85f2-ef8e7741dde9.html
