Two adults in Forsyth County have died from the flu. State health officials confirming that one of the two adults was at higher risk for complications because of advanced age and pre-existing medical conditions. The other adult had no known risk factors. Positive flu tests in the state have quadrupled since early November. A new study for women: regular exercise does not reduce the ‘risk’ of an otherwise ‘couch potato’ lifestyle. Women who exercise regularly actually spend as much time sitting down as those who don’t get much exercise…and thus may be susceptible to a greater risk of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity and premature death, the study revealed.
