Greensboro Police are investigating a string of car thefts in the city. Police said there have been eight different reports of Hondas stolen in and around apartment complexes off Church Street, Park Avenue and Berryman Street since the end of October. Fox 8 reporting that seven of the stolen vehicles were Honda Accords and one was a Honda Civic. Four of the vehicles have been recovered. Recycled fashion: Haggar Clothing Company is proud of its latest casual pants line (LK Life Khakis). Did you know that they are made from recycled plastic water bottles? Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center will lay off 76 employees this week and cut a total of 950 jobs by the end of next June. In a press release from the hospital:
Most of the cuts are administrative positions, but some faculty members could lose their jobs due to cuts in federal research funding.
