New questions about the safety of pork are raised in a study by Consumer Reports. The group tested nearly 200 pork chop and ground pork samples and found that many tested positive for potentially disease-causing bacteria such as salmonella, listeria even staph. More than 90% of the bacteria found in the pork samples were antibiotic-resistant. Experts confirming that ‘germs’ are found in nearly everything we eat. The teen actor in the CBS comedy “Two and Half Men” is telling people to stop watching the show (and most of what’s on television) because it’s “filth.”   Nineteen year-old Angus Jones has played the character “Jake” since he was 10
years old. Now, he says he wants out. Jones attended Christian school when he
was younger but has more recently had a ‘spiritual awakening’ and now wants to

Name change and new logo coming soon.  Officials with the Natural Science
Center of Greensboro will unveil a new name and logo sometime in March. 
The
center is best known for its special exhibits, the Animal Discovery Zoological Park and the soon-to-be-completed Carolina Sci-Quarium.   BTW: The Natural Science Center was the fifth-highest field trip destination in the state last year, attracting about
