Another Energy Drink under Investigation by the FDA (News for Friday)

Another Energy Drink investigation:  The FDA is looking into reports that 5-hour Energy drinks may be connected to several deaths across the US. The FDA has received 90 filings since 2009 mentioning 5-hour Energy shots. Thirty incidents were life threatening and included events such as heart attacks, convulsions, and one case of spontaneous abortion, according to the New York Times.  BTW: Drink companies like 5-hour Energy are not required by the FDA to list how much caffeine is in a product.  http://myfox8.com/2012/11/15/5-hour-energy-may-be-connected-to-13-deaths/

Palestinian rockets continued to fall on southern Israel. More than 300 rockets have hit Israel in less than 48 hours. Free dental clinic going on today and Saturday at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.  There are hundreds of volunteers along with 38 dentists working together this weekend. The Free dental clinic is hosted by the North Carolina Dental Society “Missions of Mercy”.   The FREE dental clinic is open from 7:30am to 5:30pm today and from 7:30am  to 3pm on Saturday. FYI:  Additional area dentists are needed on Saturday to donate their time. Closing: Hostess Brands, the makers of such iconic baked goods as Twinkies, Devil Dogs and Wonder Bread, is asking a federal bankruptcy court for permission to close its ‘doors’ (operations) and sell its assets to the highest bidder.  The closing will result in  nearly 18,500 Hostess workers losing their jobs as the company shuts 33 bakeries and 565 distribution centers nationwide.
