Beginning this week, you will need to pay extra attention while driving.  It’s pretty common practice that if you see a police officer pulled over on the side of the highway, that you need to get ‘over’ in the other lane – if possible –  or slow down. Starting today, add maintenance workers and utility crews to the state’s “Move Over” law. You are now required to pull over or slow down for utility and road maintenance workers displaying flashing amber lights. If you don’t make an effort to Move Over or slow down…it could cost you $250 dollars, plus court costs.–move-over–law-goes-into-effect-monday
